 Situated in the tranquility of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, an hour’s drive from Bordeaux and Bergerac Airports, and 30 minutes’ drive from the medieval town of St Emilion, Le Moulin de Saquet is an attractive 300 year-old house built on the site of an ancient windmill.
Take advantage of the on-site swimming pool and relax in the secluded gardens, before exploring the many attractions of the Gironde. Take a bike out along the safe ‘piste cyclable’ that crosses the driveway. Stroll in the adjacent vineyards and woods.
Stephanie and Suzette will offer you a warm welcome, and will be happy to organise your visits to local vineyards for wine-tasting, or to beautiful gardens and Chateaux.
All our en suite rooms have hair-drier and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a cosy mezzanine living room,with TV, DVD, video, books, music and games available. The dining room has a wood-burning stove and view over pool.
Mediaeval St Emilion, famous for its fabulous wines, is 30 minutes' drive away. We are surrounded by dozens of wine Chateaux offering tours, tastings and direct wine sales.

There is a host of other activities available in the surrounding area, including cycling (the safe cycle path is literally one minute from our door), cultural events, medieval towns and daily markets, churches and abbeys, Chateaux, gardens and every kind of sporting activity.
Start your day with a copious continental breakfast of fresh bread and croissants, a selection of fruit juices, cereals, Greek and fruit yogurts, fresh fruit and a choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.{linebreak}
Evening meal by reservation. Our menu will be dispayed at breakfast-time so that you can decide whether to eat in or to visit one of our excellent local restaurants. Our own meal will consist of fresh, local ingredients and offers an international mix of styles. There will be three courses, with 'vin ordinaire', bread and coffee included - though you may choose to sample a bottle of local wine from our own cellar.
Steph and Suzette will offer you a warm welcome; their aim is to make you feel as comfortable as in your own home.
