Résidence Lou Castel lies 10 km. from the centre of the nice Casteljau, in the middle of nature and space, approx. 85 km. north-west of Orange, in the desirable holiday region the Ardèche. A delightful destination for those you want to alternate an active holiday in a green environment with peace, sufficient facilities for the little ones and several seeing sights in the near vicinity. In order to that you can take nice walks on one of the many marked walking tracks, canoe, kayak, be active with speleology, mountain climbing, archery, horseback riding and para sailing. The southern Ardèche is marked by olive trees, wine areas and chestnut trees. Seeing sights which are certainly worth visiting are a.o. the Gorges du Chassezac and the Gorges de l’Ardèche, Vallon Pot d’Arc, the characteristic villages Les Vans, Naves, Banne, Balazuc and Thines, the cave of L’Aven d’Orgnac and the ones of la Cocalière. Furthermore the Bambousserraie in Anduze is a real recommendation; an immense big bamboo garden, in where you imagine yourself for a minute on an entire different continent. You can also reach this garden travelling with a genuine steam train. The national parks Monts d’Ardèche and the Cevennen are also well reachable from Casteljau. The park itself counts 94 accommodations, which are spread over an exceptional parcel of approx. 100 ha., close to a marvellous castle from the 12th century. In here all facilities are accommodated. Accommodations: The houses are spread over the spacious land and situated on the ground floor (FR-07140-01, suitable for 4 pers.) or the 1st floor (FR-07140-02, suitable for 5 pers.). Both types are complete and of a good standard furnished and have a terrace or covered balcony with garden furniture. On the ground floor you have access to a parasol. All houses are situated in a splendid environment in the middle of the nature.
