There is a splendid lake at a stone's throw away which is ideal for swimming, fishing or sailing. In summer the beaches are monitored. The Ariège is fabulous in winter too. At 40 minutes by car you will find the ski pistes of Aix-les-Thermes (from 1800 m) and of course Andorra is also famous for its excellent ski facilities (from 2100 m).
