 Saunt Geniez d’Olt lies at approx. 59 km. north of Millau in the department l’Aveyron. It is a Medieval little town and is marked by beautiful façade’s and several monuments. The department l’Aveyron has 10 villages which are qualified as ôles plus beaux village des Franceö, which means the most beautiful villages of France. With that it is the leader of the entire France for the Dordogne. These villages are all worth visiting; Sainte-Eulalie, Saint-Côme d’Olt, Sauveterre de Rouergue, Estaing, Conques, Brousse le Chateau, Belcastel, Peyre, Najac and La Couvertoirade. During a walk along the river the Lot, you can also enjoy one of the many other villages. The region is also excellent for trips by horse or by canoe through one of the many rivers. In the many rivers you can take a lovely swim, fish or practice other water sports. An example of such a lake is the Lac de Pareloup. Due to the mountainous environment you can also practise speleology and parapenting. You can also walk on a part of the world famous, and placed on the world heritage list by the UNESCO, walking track GR 65, which runs from Switzerland all the way to Santiago de Compostella in Spain and is part of the European walking route E3. The surroundings is divers. In order to that you find the large plateau’s of l’Aubrac, the rocks of Causse de Larzac and the beautiful valley of the Lot and the Gorget du Tarn. The nature is here still authentic and the historical buildings have been well remained. The Aveyron is an excellent region for a sportive holiday for the entire family, but in where you can also enjoy the peace. An exceptional area with numerous facilities and possibilities. The park; The almost car free holiday park Village Goélia is an ideal spot to spend your holiday. It lies against the village Saint-Geniez d’Olt, across the village Saint Eulalie in the heart of the Lot valley. It is a spaciously setup park with several facilities. The accommodations: All accommodations are located in detached houses of a maximum of two floors. They are usually of the single-housing type, sometimes they contain of 2 houses.
