 The surroundings; Saint Geniez d’Olt lies at approx. 59 km. North of Millau in the department l’Aveyron. It is a medievel city and is marked by beautiful façades and several monuments. The department l’Aveyron had 10 villages which are qualified as ôles plus beaux villages de Franceö, which means the most beautiful villages of France. It is therefore the trendsetter of all of France, especially the Dordogne. These villages are all worth visiting; Sainte-Eulalie, Saint-Côme d’Olt, Sauveterrre de Rouergue, Estaing, Conques, Brousse le Chateau, Belcastel, Peyre, Najac and la Couvertoirade. During a walk along the river the Lot, you can also enjoy one of the many other villages. The region is also excellent to make tracks by horse or by canoe through one of the many rivers. Because of the mountainious environment, you can also practise speleology and parapenting. You can also walk through a part of the world famous walking course GR 65, which has been placed on the world heritage list by the UNESCO, which runs from Switzerland all the way to Santiago de Compostella in Spain and is part of the European walking course E3. The surroundings are divers. Such as the large plateau’s of l’Aubrac, the rocks of Causse de Larzac and the beautiful valley of the Lot and the Gorges du Tarn are to be found here. The nature there is still really authentic and the historical building are well preserved. The Aveyron is eminently suitable for a sportsmanlike holiday for the whole family, but also a place to lovely enjoy the rest. An exceptional area with various facilities and possibilities. The park: the almost carfree holiday park Village Goélia is an ideal spot to spend your holiday. It is situated against the village Saint-Geniez d’Olt, opposite the village Saint-Eulalie in the heart of the Lot valley. It is a spaciously set up park with several facilities. The accommodations: All properties are in the detached villa’s of a maximum of two storeys. Usually they are of the single occupation type, and sometime they consist of 2 homes. As a result of which the 6-pers. Home (FR-00000-570) lies on the ground floor or on the 1st floor. The 8-pers. home covers the ground floor and the 1st floor. All properties are complete, modern and of a good standard furnished and contains of a terrace or balcony with garden furniture.
