The Saddlery is a charming stone cottage (80m2) situated alongside a moat, with breathtaking views over the Dordogne countryside. It is set within the 11-hectare grounds of a manor house, and backs onto a wood. There is a private garden and patio immediately outside the cottage for sunbathing and bar-b-queing, which overlooks the moat and the grounds of the manor house. There are very quiet roads and even quieter woodland in which to walk and cycle, and an important and beautiful archeological site in the village along the river Auvezere, where you can swim, canoe, or admire the horseshoe falls at La Forge du Savignac. For beach or watersports, the Lac de Rouffiac-en-Perigord is only 15 min drive from the cottage, as is the excellent swimming pool complex at St. Yrieix-la-PercheNon smoking
