Uzès lies 33 km. south-east of Alès. The nice gîte Audebert is peacefully situated in the cosy village with small streets. The gìte has sole occupation and lies on a beautiful piece of ground with sufficient privacy. The house has been built in the 19th century and is renovated in Provencal style. The interior is neat and well maintained. The house is equipped with mobile air cooling systems (no airco). With the gîte also lies a little lawn on where the children can play. The property has a nice covered terrace where you can quietly eat in the evening and a second not covered one on the other side of the house. There is enough parking space near the gîte. In the surroundings of the holiday house you can walk, ride a bike, canoeing and swimming in the Gardon river, golf at 2 km., visit Uzès at 2 km. with nice expositions, a beautiful large church and horse shows. Pont du Gard, a large world famous bridge as shown on the photo, lies in the area. This region is ideal for the wine lovers of Chardonnay and rosé because of the various wine tastings in the environment.
