Description
At the heart of an olive grove covering several hectares, Hameau de Montplaisir comprises five buildings that have been recently restored and turned into holiday cottages. The hamlet enjoys an unbroken view of Béziers cathedral. You can therefore enjoy all the different sorts of activities û musical, cultural, sports and recreational û that the nearby town of Béziers has to offer, and which are organized during the summer. Thanks to its central location (in the heart of Hérault), Hameau de Montplaisir is the ideal starting point for tours of the region.You can visit Béziers’ old districts, its cathedral and museums, several abbeys, the largest of which are Valmagne and Fontfroide, the medieval cities of Carcassonne (UNESCO world heritage) and Aigues-Mortes, the Cathar castles and the Midi Canal (also recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO).If you prefer a lazy holiday, you can also relax beside one of the two swimming pools on the estate or by the sea; the beaches are only 15 minutes away.A detached, 118 m2 holiday house in a hamlet of holiday properties. The holiday house has a swimming pool which is shared with two other cottages (FR-34500-06 and FR-34500-07).You can enjoy the nearby beaches and go out touring in the region. A number of places close by are worth a visit (Carcassonne, Canal du Midi, Aigues-Mortes, Nîmes with its arenas and its Maison Carrée, etc.).
