Surroundings: Résidence Les Lauriers Roses lies in Cap d’Agde, 55 km. south-west of Montpellier along the coastline of the Languedoc. It is an excellent spot to explore the coast and the back land of this beautiful region. In the surroundings, which has an lovely climate because of the location at the Mediterranean see, you can take boat trips on the Canal du Midi, sail up the Hérault with the boat, sail with a catamaran, deep sea diving, driving a quad, go cart, jet skiing and several other water sports. You will also find an 18 hole golf course. Excursions you can make to amongst others the city Pézénas with evenings markets in July and August, the city Béziers, the safari park of Signean and the medieval town Carcassonne. The park consists of 148 terraced houses, which are spread throughout the green and shady park (6 ha.). You will find the beach at less then 800 m., reachable by foot. Besides the beach you will amuse yourself nicely on the park itself because of the many facilities. Accommodation: The terraced bungalows are spread throughout the park and are built in the style which is typical for the Languedoc. All bungalows are of a good standard and comfortable furnished and have a covered terrace (or parasol) and garden furniture. The 4-5 pers. bungalow (FR-34309-01) is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults and 1 child up to 12 years. The 5-pers. bungalow (FR-34309-02) is more suited for families with children, due the bedroom with two bunk beds.
