Description

The surroundings: Cassen is a small, rural village with only 350 inhabitants, at only 20 km. north-east of Dax and 40 km. of Mont de Marsan. It lies in the region La Chalosse, known for its many local village festivals and gastronomy. The beaches of Hossegor, Port d’Albert or Cap Breton are reachable within 45 car minutes. The holiday park Sportland is a fine starting point for several excursions and walks. In order to that Dax, France its first thermal city, is easy to reach, you can visit Pau with its 6 markets days per week and Oloron Sainte Marine, Biarritz with its many beautiful beaches and nice cosy centre, the Sea Aquarium and of course the high waves are a recommendation and the inland of the Baskenland with places such as Cambo les Bains and Saint Pied de Port are worth your while. In case you would like to travel a bit further, then Spain with seaside resort San Sebastian is recommendable. In short, a versatile environment with several possibilities. The park: Holiday Park Sportland lies 2 km. from Cassen in the middle of a forest rich park of approx. 17 ha. The entity covers an hotel, a holiday park (90 villa’s of the type terraced houses, situated in 7 different rows), a well known horseback riding school (Equiland) and several facilities in the sports and entertainment field, in order to provide for everyone what one needs. Outside the park you can canoe, due to the presence of many rivers (to be arranged at the reception). The accommodations: The homes lie in a row on a separate part of the park. They are all comfortable, modern and completely furnished and all have a balcony with garden furniture and a few lounge chairs. Due to the south location, you can nicely enjoy the sun. You have access to you own parking space. At the spot you can rent a colour TV, please mention at the time of the booking.
