 Each of the 18 houses has a separate sun terrace and offers enough privacy. There are two luxurious, pretty swimming pools in the park, with one indoor which is heated out of season. There is a paddling pool for the little ones, a play garden, a sand box, table tennis and a boules track. The snack bar offers fresh, reasonably priced snacks, drinks and ice cream.For the nature lovers the park is situated in a unique landscape with magnificent valleys, pre-historical caves and babbling brooks where you can make fabulous walks or cycling trips. History and culture vultures will admire the many authentic medieval towns like Rocamadour, Saint Cirq de La Popie, Assier and Cahors. The castle of Castelnau and the caves of Lascaux are definitely worth a visit. In the park there are different, gorgeous and imposing houses in natural stone, stone walls, rocks and beautiful gardens and terraces.For French cuisine lovers there are many delicacies on offer like duck confit, foie gras pâté, truffles, nuts, goat's cheese, saffron, melons and Cahors wine.Besides the 7000 km walking- and cycling paths there are other sporty possibilities in the region like canoeing and kayak on the Dordogne, rock climbing, horse riding and speleology. In short : this park is located in a great region with many leisure facilities and delicious food. If you enjoy the dolce vita, this is the chance to really enjoy yourself and to relax amongst the authentic houses, picturesque villages, cosy towns with narrow streets, small, sunny market squares, southern markets and sunny terraces !These chalets are located in a newly installed part of the park. They have a fun and cosy exterior because every house has been painted in the colour of its flower name.Every chalet is detached and therefore offers full privacy. There are grass gardens here, with plant containers, palmtrees and antique amphoras. Children can play freely here.The chalets benefit from a private access road which circles around the houses. The south-facing terrace has garden furniture and a barbecue. A new stone terrace has been installed around every house. These houses dispose of a tiled roof like the farms. Surprising materials were used for the wooden finishing inside. Everything looks very pretty. The ground floor has a country table, banks and cane seats. |
