This lovely detached natural stone gentlemans farm is located on a special plateau of 4 medieval villages. This original French house originates from the 17th century and appears to melt into the green natural surroundings. The first walls date from the year 1612. The original building has undergone a number of modernizations in recent years, while retaining the authenticity. In this oasis of peace you can relax and enjoy the surrounding area, and you can forget any semblance of time.This accommodation consists of 2 individual gîtes gathered and is equipped with a lovely swimming pool with a terrace (shared with other guests). Sun worshippers will enjoy the lovely far views in privacy.Experience true French "tranquilité" in the evening with a lovely glass of Vin de Cahors after enjoying a day of water sports on the River Lot or one of its many tributaries!This lovely region offers the ideal combination of multifaceted landscape, a surplus of culture, the mild climate and the perfect regional cuisine, such as confit de canard, charcuterie de Quercy, foie gras and a true delicacy, the truffle.In addition to the many picturesque villages and wine tastings, there are a number of options in the region such as walking, cycling, horseback riding, fishing and canoeing. On a natural history area there are the traditional houses of Quercy for visiting, the medieval towns of Rocamadour and nearby there is the Périgord, where it is said that there are a thousand and one castles. Dont forget the markets, flea markets and summer festivals.
