Small restored abbey close to Gordes. The hamlet named Imbert has all the charm of Marcel Pagnol’s Provence: an old church, a small square, a few ancestral homes under the plane trees, surrounded by a sun-drenched vineyard. It’s a great place for tourism with not only the superb village of Gordes close by but also Cavaillon and its market, Avignon and its medieval heart, or just dazzling countryside with numerous enchanting villages: Fontaine de Vaucluse, Roussillon and Bonnieux, not to mention Senanque Abbey and Mont Ventoux.This is a carefully renovated ancient building in a special setting. A large enclosed courtyard gives the swimming pool a perfectly calm, intimate, luminous setting. One of the terraces, with magnificent vaults, is ideal for meals or for lazing around enjoying the heat. Adjoining this one, there are other sunny terraces.
